Born in Virginia, Minnesota and grew up in Hoyt Lakes,  on Minnesota’s Iron Range.
Attended AHL – Mesabi East , was on the yearbook staff , senior year in high school.

Graduation may of 1991,  gave way to college in the fall , at Duluth Tech. in Duluth, MN; in the broadcast program and start of career in the industry.

Professor was lead instructor Jim Brown of KDAL radio and did worked at KDLH TV.

In college,  opportunities came to work at WEBC am 560 and earn experience in television at WDSE TV volunteering for pledge drives.  After college,  found work at Messages – Motion as videographer for owner Ole Zupetz, for TV production Weekly Edition, airing on KDLH TV and did cable casting of local high school sports.

A new venture out of state to Sioux Falls, SD;  worked at KSFY TV and KDLT TV as production assistant.

Returned to Duluth, Mn. Worked in radio, public access tv, found work at WDSE Tv as production assistant, became pioneer broadcaster for early operation at KNLD TV worked at transmitter site. (1997-1999) returned to work in production for newscasts as KQDS TV – Fox 21 (2010-2015).

Continued to work at WDSE for productions broadcast and recorded.  Began 30th year in broadcasting.
