Student Production AWards Host
Join our show host Chenue Her for this night to honor student and educators. Chenue Her is an Regional Emmy-nominated anchor at WOI (ABC) in Des Moines, IA. He's also an Regional Emmy Recipient for his reporting. When he joined WOI in 2021, Chenue became the first Hmong anchorman in the United States.
Chenue is a veteran journalist, who came back home to the midwest after reporting in Atlanta, GA. Before that, he was in Virginia Beach and Eugene, Oregon.
A native of St. Paul, MN, Chenue got involved with the Twin Cities chapter of AAJA while in college and today, is active with the national chapter.
Today, he has a passion for working with college and high school students who are interested in journalism and TV news.
