The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences – Upper Midwest Chapter/Foundation announces its nominees for the 2019 Upper Midwest Student Television Awards.

2019 COLLEGE/UNIVERSITY STUDENT PRODUCTION AWARD NOMINEES

Join us on Friday April 12th, 2018 at the Crowne Plaza AiRE MSP Airport/Mall of America for the 2019 NATAS – Upper Midwest Student Television Awards!  This ceremony recognizes excellence in media production for high School & college/university students within the NATAS – Upper Midwest region. (Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Iowa & western Wisconsin.)

HIGH SCHOOL AWARDS CEREMONY RSVPs:

Early Bird High School Rate (3/11 – 3/15): $25 per-person (including nominees)
Regular High School Rate (3/16 – 4/05): $35 per-person (including nominees)

COLLEGE AWARDS CEREMONY RSVPs:

Early Bird College Rate (3/11 – 3/15): $30 per-person (including nominees)

Katie Emmer – FOX Sports North

The host for this year’s NATAS-Upper Midwest Regional Student Production Awards is Katie Emmer from FOX Sports North.

In 2018, Katie was honored with the Jim Nantz Award as the top collegiate sports broadcaster in the country and the first woman in history to receive the Award. After graduating from St. Cloud State, Katie was hired as a Reporter at FOX Sports North in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Schedule of events:  

  • Electronic check-in at the door.  Bring email copy of your RSVP as in case of questions.
  • 5:00pm-6:15pm: Networking with local professionals & Step-n-Repeat photo walls
  • 6:30pm- Doors open to ceremony room with food stations. (NOT A BUFFET) please be courteous with your portions)
  • 7:15pm – 9:00pm Awards ceremony.
  • Dress is semi formal/business. Women usually wear dresses, guys wear shirts & ties.  Jackets not required.
