Nomination Deadline: Nominations are now closed

The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Upper Midwest Chapter is all about awarding excellence in video production and storytelling.  Our corporate partner, Slumberland, is all about making lives better.  To that end, NATAS- Upper Midwest has created the Slumberland “Making a Difference” Award.

We are looking for one piece of work that has measurably made a difference in at least one life.

  1. Did the story achieve a standard of excellence?
  2. Did it help a community? Change a life? Change a law that will change lives? This is about rewarding socially redeeming work.

There must be some measurable impact, with evidence submitted with the nomination.

  • Evidence could include emails from viewers or the person/community helped, text of legislation introduced, or some other measurable form of changing a life.
  • We require a DVD video submission of the story, then a written explanation and evidence of the measurable impact of that story.
