Wondering how to handle a 5 part series when one of the parts is before June of last year?

  2. Jason DeRusha says:

You can still enter it, but you can’t include Part 1 (from before June). You can describe it in the narrative – there’s a section for notes to put with your entry.

  3. Dietrich Nissen says:

Is there a way to view/manage your submissions? I may have just missed the link to it. Thanks!

  4. JJ says:

Yes, just go to Emmy Express Log-in page, sign in and you can preview and make any changes to your entry until the deadline.

  5. Jennifer Livingston says:

It appears from the ‘categories’ page that the Feature category is different this year. Are the series/single story awards combined this year for Serious and Light feature? Or will there be one award given for single story and one award given for series?
Nothing like waiting until the last minute to get my questions answered!

  6. JJ says:

Light & Serious Feature Single stories/series have been combined this year due to the lack of entries in the series categories. You may either submit a single story or a series in either of the feature categories.

    Thank you, sir.

When trying to go to the next step in the submission process I am getting an error message. It is asking me to except cookies from the site. After doing so I still get the error.

    Thanks for your help!

  9. JJ says:

Entry process is a strict forward step process. The system does not like back buttons or refresh. Since you updated, You may have to log out and log back in to continue. We apologize for the inconvenience. If you have more issues, please call 952-381-7494

I would like to make sure I understand the rules regarding double dipping.

From the way I’m reading the rules, if we enter a program in 26B we can’t submit a feature that appeared in that program in 26A.

Under this logic I could submit my best program but not my best feature or I could submit my best feature but not my best program.

I want to make sure that this is indeed the case.

Also can an item entered in 26A be entered in 41A.

  11. JJ says:

The basic rule of the thumb is that you can not submit entries in a way that you can possibly receive more than one award for doing the same thing on an entry. If someone wants to submit the single story, then leave their name off the program entry. That way the person is not in a position to receive more than award. Make sense?

  12. jeff says:

What is the cost of each entries??

  13. Shawn says:

Jeff – the cost varies depending on the category and when you enter. Take a look at the complete call for entries for full details.

  14. Lori Fisher says:

    Hi there-

For catergory 13B (politics program)- does that have to be one half hour show, or can we pull segments from several of our political shows?

    Thanks!

  15. JJ says:

If it is a regular series, you can pull lifts from several programs and make it a composite. I hope this helps.
