JUDGING PROCESS DISCLOSURE STATEMENT: Entries are judged against a standard of excellence and do not compete against each other. There may be one award, more than one award or no award given in each category. Entries made to the Upper Midwest Chapter were judged by panels assembled by other NATAS Chapters. These judging panels are comprised of no fewer than 5 judges with no more than 3 of the judges employed by the same station or company. Judges may not have a conflict of interest, which is described as having a direct involvement in the production of an entry, or having a personal relationship with a member of the production staff of an entry. Group ownership, by itself, does not necessarily create a conflict of interest.

Dear Sir or Madame,
I nominated our reporter Jason Davis for a Silver Circle Achievement Awards several years ago. I was hoping to nominate long time Director Steve Hammergren who recently rertired from KSTP-TV after many years of service. Steve directed not only thousands of newscasts dating back to Ron Magers at KSTP, but also the Minnesota State High School Hockey Tournament back in the glory days in the early 80′s. Is there a proper precedure or form to fill out?
Thanks very much, Joe Caffrey – Chief Photographer – KSTP
